YET ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR UMA IN SHAPE OF 33RD FPCCI EXPORT TROPHY

16/11/2009 United Marine Agencies (UMA) has been rewarded with the prestigious 'FPCCI Export Trophy Award' in recognition of its efforts to promote country's exports. The company joined the class of leading corporate of the country after receiving the award for the fourth consecutive year. Prime Minister, Islamic Republic of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani presented the award to Mr. Sohail Shams, Chief Executive Officer of UMA in a ceremony held at the Governor's House here on Saturday November 14th 2009. Mr. Shams was also conferred with 'Businessman of The Year Gold Medal' – an award that he has been earned with for the third time in a row for his outstanding contribution to the amelioration of the national economy. FPCCI’s Export Awards are considered highly prestigious and are given every year to those companies which excel in promoting exports of the country. The awards are recognized nationally as well internationally as a mark of excellence of recipients in their endeavors to develop and strengthen the economy. Commenting on the achievements Mr. Shams said that the awards reflect his company's commitment to excellence in providing quality services to its clients. He said that the awards are indeed a sign of encouragement for him and his team; however, they impinge still higher service standards on him and his company to achieve. "UMA will do all that is humanly possible to offer its clients and its principals, a consistently high level of service that exceeds their expectations", he reiterated.
